2. Collection, use and legal bases

This privacy policy describes our policies on the collection, use and disclosure of your data when you use our website and services. Depending on the purpose, the legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, German: DSGVO) (consent), point (b) (steps prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract) or point (f) (legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website).

3. Server log files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources.

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, on a server in a data centre in France (EU). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. The legal basis for hosting is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not integrate any third-party analytics or marketing services. Only information that is strictly necessary for functions you use is stored: after login or when opening the help, a login cookie (valid until the login expires), a cookie containing the selected language (sc-lang, valid for one year) and, in your browser’s local storage, the login token and your settings for display (light/dark), edition and width of the wiki navigation. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act); no consent is required for this. You can delete this data in your browser at any time.

5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, your enquiry, including all personal data arising from it, is stored for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

6. Contact form

If you use the contact and demo request form on this website, we process the data you provide (company, first and last name, email address and your message) exclusively to process your enquiry and for any follow-up communication. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and on steps prior to entering into a contract (point (b)). Your enquiry is stored in our database and additionally forwarded by email to our mailbox. The data is not passed on to third parties without your consent. We delete the stored enquiry as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention periods apply, but automatically after twelve months at the latest.

7. Customer portal & wiki

Logging in is required for the customer portal (including licences, tickets and documents) and the access-restricted wiki. In doing so, we process the data required for authentication and use (e.g. email address, login data and information arising in the course of support) to perform the user relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Technically necessary session cookies are set after login.

8. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit).
