Test equipment management

Your test equipment. Fully traceable.

Test weight sets and climate measuring instruments are managed with a complete calibration history. When importing recalibration data, SimplyCal checks the drift of the weights and warns you before test equipment becomes due or reaches its maximum permissible error.

From the recalibration history, SimplyCal determines the drift factor kD of each test weight.

Test weight sets with drift control

Each individual weight carries its conventional mass value, the uncertainty U(k=2), material and density. When importing recalibration data, SimplyCal determines the drift factor kD for each weight from the as-found values and the previous as-left value. If it exceeds the kD stored in the uncertainty budget, SimplyCal issues a warning and blocks the set until you have checked and redefined kD – no silent increase.

  • Mass value, deviation & U(k=2) per individual weight
  • kD check when importing recalibration data
  • As-found values (before adjustment) documented

Recalibration via CSV

After your weights have been calibrated — e.g. at Häfner — a CSV file supplies the new actual values. One click transfers them into the database, and all subsequent calibrations immediately use the current values.

  • CSV import of recalibration data
  • Recalibration interval with advance warning & expiry date
  • History per set and per individual weight

Accreditation approval & blocking

Sets can be approved or blocked for accredited calibrations. Only approved, valid test equipment is used for an accredited certificate.

  • Accreditation approval per test weight set
  • Approve / block with responsible person
  • Transport drift via storage type & drift factor

Climate meters with their own chain

Thermometers, hygrometers and barometers are managed with their own calibration monitoring. During calibration, the instrument-specific uncertainty is applied automatically.

  • Own calibration chain & traffic-light due dates
  • Switchable sensors (temp / humidity / pressure)
  • Automatic instrument uncertainty in the calibration workflow
