Maintenance and support for SimplyCal

You buy your SimplyCal licence once and use it for an unlimited period. The maintenance contract is optional – with no subscription obligation.

Price

The maintenance contract costs 20% of the purchase price per licence and year (plus VAT), payable annually in advance.

Included in the maintenance fee

  • New versions and updates of SimplyCal
  • Further development with new program functions
  • Adaptation to statutory and normative requirements
  • Adaptation to new operating systems and database versions
  • Correction of program errors with the next update
  • Hotline for trained users on working days from 8:00 to 17:00 – usually answered within one working day
  • Provision of remote maintenance

Support with a maintenance contract

We charge every support request by phone or email based on time spent: €114 per hour (plus VAT) in 15-minute increments. Short requests of less than 5 minutes are free of charge. If a request is due to an error in SimplyCal, we do not charge for the support.

Also charged based on time spent: installation and setup of updates and workstations, adjustments to forms and permissions, training and instruction, data clean-up after operating errors, custom program extensions and services outside normal working hours. Travel costs and expenses are added for on-site assignments.

Without a maintenance contract

Your version continues to run for an unlimited period. New versions, updates and support are not available without a maintenance contract.

Recommended for accredited laboratories

ISO/IEC 17025 requires validated, up-to-date software. With maintenance, you stay on the approved version.

Term and termination

The maintenance contract runs for a minimum of 12 months and is then extended for an indefinite period. After the first 12 months, either party may terminate it with 3 months’ notice to the end of a calendar year.
